Evaluations for Your Institution

Your customized credentials evaluation requirements. E.g., Welcome to the IERF application for Your Institution! All international applicants who have previously completed studies outside the United States will need to have an evaluation completed by IERF to be considered for Undergraduate and/or Graduate Admission for Your Institution.

• All non-U.S. international bachelor's degrees must be evaluated.
• All other non-U.S. graduate studies must also be evaluated if your graduate program of interest either requires those degrees for doctoral study or for the purpose of pursuing a second graduate degree at Your Institution.
• Your Institution requires IERF to process your report based upon Original Documents.

Note: Please read through the information before applying. While IERF is happy to answer general questions about documents required for the report, no pre-screening of documents is available in determining degree equivalency. Completed reports are sent directly to Your Institution electronically. Please allow 1-2 business days for Your Institution to receive and process your completed evaluation.

Application Instructions

Your customized instructions. E.g., As an essential part of your application process, Your Institution requires a DETAIL evaluation report. Your Institution applicants receive a $20 discount when applying through IERF’s secure, user-friendly, and interactive application. Please select Your Institution as the recipient of your evaluation report in the drop-down menu to ensure that your report reaches the correct office and that you receive the $20 discount. Completed evaluation reports are sent electronically to Your Institution on your behalf.

• When prompted in the online application, please select email/electronic delivery as the delivery method.
• When prompted in the payment screen in the online application, please select check/money order.
• In the Review section of the application, just before you submit, please enter a note in the provided notes section: Your Institution.
• If you have previously received an evaluation report from IERF, please be sure to indicate this in the online application. * A new report fee will apply for additional official copies after the report is completed.

Required Documents

Please review the document requirements carefully before submitting your application. The evaluation process will only begin once IERF has received all the required documents and fees. Please refer to the IERF Country-Specific Requirements for detailed information on academic records needed for your country of study.

• When prompted in the online application, please select email/electronic delivery as the delivery method.
• Official Documents Required. Submit original academic records (transcripts, diplomas, certificates) indicating courses, hours/credits, and Documents must be on institutional letterhead with official signatures and seals. If credits are not included, provide syllabi or program descriptions.
• Certified Copies. If originals are unavailable, you may submit official certified copies from your institution. These must include an ink seal and authorized signature. .
• Document Verification (Optional, $75 per program). IERF can verify your records directly with the institution. Submit unofficial copies and authorization. Verification attempts are made every 2 months (up to 4 attempts). For verification, email your IERF File Number and request to support@ierf.org, with “Your Institution DV” in the subject line.

Once your evaluation report is completed, IERF will immediately deliver an electronic official copy of your report together with a copy your academic records directly to Your Institution. You will also receive an applicant's digital copy of the report via email.

Rush Services

24-hour, 5-day, and 10-day rush options are available per request at additional charges. If requesting a Rush service, please note that ALL fees must be paid by cashier's check, money order, or credit card only. No personal checks will be accepted for rush applications. Please also note that Rush applications received after 12:00pm PST/PDT will be considered to have been received the next business day. This also applies to payments, correspondence and documentation received after 12:00pm PST/PDT.

**If additional documentation and/or fees is/are required, the turnaround time will be effective from the date of receipt of the application, required documents, and fee.

24-Hour Rush (Next Business Day)

5-Day Rush

Fee	$85 in addition to the report fee
Turnaround time	5 business days from the receipt of the application, required documents and fee.

10-Day Rush

Fee	$60 in addition to the report fee
Turnaround time	10 business days from the receipt of the application, required documents and fee.

IMPORTANT: Once you have applied online, you will receive a file number. Please include your file number on the outside of the envelope when sending your documents in. This will notify us that your case is a rush service, so that we can give your application immediate attention. If you are arranging to have your school or translation service forward documents directly to our office, please request that they reference your file number on the outside of the envelope. IERF cannot guarantee that your rush service will be correctly applied on the business day it is received if your file number is not included on the envelope.

Translations

Translations must be submitted for all records not officially issued in English. In some cases, professional translations may be required. Translation varies by country and the country-specific requirements. IERF has negotiated a special discount with University Language Services for our applicants who use their translation services. You can contact them directly through their website to request a quote and learn more about the discount.
