Evaluations for CES: BYU, BYU-I, BYU-H, and Ensign College.
Evaluations for CES: BYU, BYU-I, BYU-H, and Ensign College.
The Church Educational System (CES) comprises BYU (undergraduate only), BYU-Idaho, BYU-Hawaii, and Ensign College. All the CES schools use the same document processing system; therefore, only one IERF report is required if you are applying to multiple CES institutions. Any secondary and/or college studies completed outside the United States must be evaluated. This requirement applies to students seeking undergraduate admission and/or transfer credit.
NOTE FOR APPLICANTS:
If you studied at the university level for 1 year or less, please also submit your secondary school records for evaluation (in addition to the records for your postsecondary education). CES requires this information.
As an essential part of your application process, CES requires a DETAIL evaluation report ($165 – discounted fee for CES) for all non-US studies that you have completed. IERF’s user-friendly application will guide you step-by-step through this evaluation process.
Reports are sent electronically to Brigham Young University for all the CES Schools (BYU – Undergraduate, BYU – Idaho, BYU – Hawaii, Ensign College). Please select Brigham Young University – Undergraduate as the recipient of your evaluation report to ensure that your report reaches the correct office. When prompted in the online application, please select email/electronic delivery as the delivery method.
If you are applying to BYU – Graduate Studies please view the Graduate application instructions here.
Please review IERF’s country specific requirements for your particular country of study.
NOTE: BYU and all CES Schools require IERF to process your report based upon Original Documents. If you have previously received an evaluation report from IERF, please be sure to indicate this in the online application.
Translations must be submitted for all records not officially issued in English. In some cases, professional translations may be required. IERF has negotiated a special discount with University Language Services for our applicants who use their translation services. You can contact them directly through their website to learn more about the discount.
Once you have submitted your online application to IERF, your application will be reviewed and IERF will reach out to you should any further information be required to process your evaluation report. Every effort will be made to complete the evaluation within 15 business days. IERF also offers a 10-day, 5-day and 24-hour rush for an additional fee. Please note that the evaluation process will only begin once IERF has received all the required documents and fees.
As soon as your evaluation report is completed, IERF will immediately deliver an electronic official copy of your report together with a copy your academic records directly to BYU - Undergraduate. You will also receive an applicant's digital copy of the report via email.
Should you have any questions, feel free to reach out to IERF at info@ierf.org. Remember to reference which school you are applying to and include your temporary IERF file number if you have one.
IERF looks forward to assisting you.
